One late afternoon walk, long conversations, and plenty of laughs. It was so good to see her after all this time.
Amélie is an exceptional person to me. I love the way she thinks, her personality, arty quirkiness but mostly her sensitivity.
Most of us think when we grow up, we will have plenty of time to spend with family and friends that things would never change and the fun and good times had will last forever. We grow older and time seems to slip away, and we recognize that life is a little more complex.
I do my best to remind myself how fortunate I am to spend time with the people I love.
