I spent many years of my life surfing in Étretat. On wild and windy days, it would create the perfect swell, that would roll over the hard plateau situated on Étretat’s beach, the wind generated swell would then create beautiful righthanded waves.
The blowing wind, the smell of the sea and the seagulls ever cawing can be heard on the beach and at sea. The light ever changing highlights the impressive cliffs and it’s famous natural arc. Étretat’s shore, has perfect round stones shaped from decades and decades of rolling, back and forth with the swell on it’s inclined beaches.
Étretat, Normandie, France is such a wonderfully place to experience.
Agnese & Antoine captured here, celebrating their love for one another on a warm spring day. We walked up to the where sits the church of Étretat, a places where you can enjoy its beautiful views overlooking the seascape, beach and it’s town.
It was great going back there after all those years.
